Endura Racing add UK firepower to 2012 squad

Endura Racing announced last week that the core of the highly successful 2011 team had been retained for 2012 and we're very excited to announce that we have made further significant signings to the squad for next year to build on the success which saw the team finish the season as the top UK based team, and also one of the highest ranked Contintenal outfits, in the UCI Europe Tour rankings.

We're pleased to announce the first three of our new signings, who will bolster the UK presence on the team.

Erick Rowsell (age 21) joins after three years on British Cycling's academy programme and is a strong all round rider who has already represented England on the track at the Delhi Commonwealth Games as well as being part of Great Britain teams at the Tour de l'Avenir and GiroBio.
I'm really looking forward to riding for Endura Racing next year. The team has a very good set up and I have seen how it has grown and progressed over the last few years and I'm excited about being a part of that next year. After being on the British Academy for the last three years I see Endura Racing as a great opportunity for me to progress in the sport.  My aims for 2012 are to continue learning and developing as a rider, to get results in both home and continental races and help the team gain further success.

Jonny McEvoy (age 22) comes in from the Motorpoint team where he has proven to be a rider with an eye for victory with two stage wins in Endura's home round of the Premier Calendar, the Tour DoonHame, as well as podium finishes at the Tour of Norway and the Tour de Mumbai. 2012 will be his first senior year and he will be hoping to add to his palmares.
I am really excited about the 2012 season, riding for Endura Racing in my first senior year. With a good programme and set up I aim to move up another level.

Ian Bibby (age 24) also joins Endura Racing from Motorpoint where he won the 2011 Premier Calendar and was a stage victor and runner up to Iker Camano at the Cinturón Ciclista Internacional a Mallorca and also racked up an impressive 5th place at the British National Road Race Championships in a very fine season.
I'm really excited about 2012. We are going to do some great races with some great riders and just can't wait to get going!

This is the second in a number of team announcements as we build our programme for 2012, look out for more exciting news over coming weeks.

We will once again be supported by a network of top class equipment sponsors and partnership agreements will be announced soon.
